Shipping policy

At Hype and Vice, we strive to deliver your order as quickly as possible while maintaining our commitment to quality and sustainability. This policy explains our processing times, shipping methods, delivery estimates, and our policies regarding lost or missing packages.


Processing Times

  • Many of our products are Made to Order (MTO) and take approximately 3–7 business days to process before shipping.
  • Processing includes receiving your order, producing your item, performing quality checks, and packaging it.
  • During high-volume or peak seasons, processing may take up to 15 business days.
  • You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order is fulfilled.
Please note: Processing time is separate from shipping time. Your selected shipping method begins after your order has been fulfilled.


Shipping Methods and Delivery Estimates

We currently offer one domestic shipping option:
  • Standard Shipping: Estimated 2–5 business days after fulfillment
Delivery timelines are only estimates and not guaranteed. Transit time starts once the carrier picks up the package, and it does not include our processing time.


Tracking Your Order

  • You will receive a tracking number via email when your order ships.

  • It may take up to 48 hours for tracking updates to appear after a label is created.

  • USPS often takes time to scan packages — if you see no movement yet, your package is likely awaiting its first scan at the carrier facility.


Risk of Loss and Title

All orders are shipped F.O.B. shipping point. This means that title and risk of loss pass to you once we deliver the order to the carrier.

Please provide a secure and accurate shipping address. If your order is marked as delivered by the carrier but you cannot locate it, please contact the carrier directly. Hype and Vice is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages after delivery has been confirmed.


Carrier Delays and Force Majeure

Once your package leaves our facility, we have no control over carrier delays. We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Carrier backlogs or service interruptions

  • Weather, natural disasters, or public health emergencies

  • Customs inspections

  • Strikes, labor disputes, or transportation issues

  • Any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)

These events do not constitute a breach of our obligations, and refunds will not be issued due to carrier-related delays.


International Orders (if applicable)

If you place an international order:

  • Delivery times vary and are not guaranteed.

  • Customs duties, taxes, or import fees may apply. These are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in your order total.

  • Customs clearance may delay delivery beyond estimated timelines.


Missing Package Policy

We want you to receive your order safely, and we will do our best to assist if something goes wrong during transit. Please follow the steps below if your package is delayed, missing, or marked as delivered but not received.

If Your Package Shows “Delivered” but You Cannot Find It

  • Please allow 24–48 hours, as carriers may sometimes mark packages as delivered before they physically arrive.
  • Check with neighbors, roommates, building staff, mailrooms, or front desks.
  • Confirm that the shipping address on your order confirmation is correct.
If you are still unable to locate the package after completing the steps above, please contact us at customerservice@hypeandvice.com. Our team will assist in filing a claim or investigation with the carrier on your behalf.
Please note that claim approvals are subject to the carrier’s investigation and findings.

If Your Package Is Stuck “In Transit” or “Pending”
  • Please allow up to 10 business days from the last tracking update for the carrier to resolve potential transit delays.
  • If there have been no movement or updates after this timeframe, contact us with your order number and tracking details.
Our team will review the shipment status and assist in opening a claim or investigation with the carrier if necessary.

Claim Review Process
Once a claim has been submitted, carriers may require additional time to investigate the shipment. Depending on the carrier’s findings, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or other resolution options where applicable.

Important:
  • Shipping delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other transit-related issues are outside of Hype and Vice’s direct control.
  • Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
  • Claims for missing packages must be reported within a reasonable timeframe from the marked delivery date to allow investigation eligibility with the carrier.
